An advertisement contemplation

I found this ad rather interesting. It’s just one of those ‘splash page’ adverts from Yahoo, trying to get people to study for a new career, only take a moment to really look at it.

Note the cartoonish images they used to portray the careers for “Bounty Hunter” “Police” and “Criminal Investigator” --all things related to legal professions and granting people “power”.

Aren’t they evil looking?

Which has me wondering, what exactly is their psychological target market here?

Personally, it freaks me out...
